still echoing the moaning sound
of misspelled magic
unaimed … untamed
ravaging the fertile ground
looming brand, carved in sand
still preserving the ancient dream
of drifting shadows
gently … patiently
kissing waves of molten land
don’t dare to touch the shifting pool,
leave, ye wise one. flee, you fool!
do not stay!
run away!
do not return another day!
unless …
