I really wanted to do this for a long time, but never found time or inspiration to start working. Finally a conversation with dejan-delic, another Gentleman Bastards' friend, made me finishing this picture within two days only. Wow - thanks a lot for being my inspiration! :hug:

So here we go with the Rose and the Thorn of Camorr, Sabetha and Locke - they way they do look like in my imagination. Well, I wasn't sure about the color of Sabetha's eyes - if anyone of you should remember (or know from reading a stolen manuscript of "The Republic if Thieves" ;)), please correct me in case I was wrong with my guess.


Nach langer Zeit habe ich - um die mir Wartezeit auf "Die Republik der Diebe" zu verkürzen - mich mal wieder an meinen liebsten Langfinger Locke und seine Ex(?)-Partnerin Sabetha herangetraut.
Wer wie ich die ersten beiden Bücher gelesen hat und die Gerüchte zu TRoT kennt, weiß - genau wie ich - auch nur, dass Sabetha rote Haare hatte und ziemlich tough gewesen sein muss. Wer mehr weiß, z.B. welche Farbe ihre Augen hatten (denn hier habe ich wirklich nur geraten), kann mir gern auf die Sprünge helfen. ;)

OK, first of all, I would like to thank you for mentioned me in your comment, and for your kind words that I was the inspiration for this piece of art - I'm truly honored. :D :hug:
Second, this is just great work! :nod: :thumbsup: Love just everything about it - composition, colors, costumes, atmosphere...body position between Rose and Thorn is just stunning, you can feel some energy there. ;)
Now, about Sabetha - love how you make her, with that corset, dress, boots and that wild, fire hair...it reveals her wild nature, and her wanderer spirit. Great! :clap:
And, these three candles speaks for their self...nice touch on that. :D
Btw, I must tell you - I'm currently working on my new Gentleman Bastard fan art. ;)
